Alba, a young girl spending her summer visiting her grandparents on a Mediterranean island, plans to enjoy the outdoors with her friend Inés. When she discovers an animal in danger, she decides to help protect the island's wildlife. Armed with her camera, Alba explores the island, photographs animals, helps local residents and recruits volunteers to create an organisation dedicated to preserving the environment. As she uncovers the island's natural beauty and the problems threatening it, her efforts grow into a community campaign to protect its wildlife and prevent damage to the local landscape.
