In the summer of 1996, teenagers attempt to escape Petria, an authoritarian country ruled by a government that controls its citizens and suppresses dissent. Travelling towards the border, each young fugitive encounters strangers whose lives and secrets intertwine with the political tensions surrounding the nation. Through hitchhiking, exploration, conversations and consequential choices, players shape each journey and influence the fates of the people they meet. Its procedural narrative structure creates different combinations of encounters and events across repeated journeys.
