Betty Wand
Betty Ruth Wand was an American singer, voice artist, and author best known as one of Hollywood's leading uncredited "ghost singers" during the golden age of film musicals. She began her career performing with the orchestras of Xavier Cugat, Horace Heidt, and Ray Conniff before providing singing voices for actresses in films including Gigi, South Pacific, and West Side Story. In the latter, she dubbed Rita Moreno's vocals for the song A Boy Like That / I Have a Love. Later in life, Wand also became an author, publishing the lifestyle book Secrets for Women in Their Prime.
