Bruce Lorne Campbell (born June 22, 1958) is an American actor, producer, writer, and director. He gained cult status portraying Ash Williams in Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead trilogy and later reprised the role in the television series Ash vs Evil Dead (2015–2018). Campbell has appeared in numerous films and television series, including Bubba Ho-Tep (2002), Burn Notice (2007–2013), and made memorable cameo appearances in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, returning once again in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). Widely regarded as a cult cinema icon, he has also enjoyed a successful career as an author and voice actor.
