Deborah Ann Woll is an American actress, writer, and producer born on February 7, 1985, in Brooklyn, New York City. After studying acting, piano, and dance from an early age, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the USC School of Dramatic Arts and further refined her classical training through an intensive Shakespeare program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. She rose to international prominence as Jessica Hamby in HBO's critically acclaimed vampire drama True Blood (2008–2014), earning praise for transforming a supporting character into one of the series' emotional centerpieces. She achieved even greater recognition portraying Karen Page in Marvel's Daredevil, a role she reprised in The Defenders, The Punisher, and Daredevil: Born Again, establishing herself as one of the defining performers of Marvel's street-level universe.
