Joseph Michael Manganiello (born December 28, 1976) is an American actor, producer, director, and author. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama, he made his feature film debut as Flash Thompson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002). He achieved international recognition for portraying Alcide Herveaux in HBO's True Blood (2010–2014) and later appeared in films including Magic Mike (2012), Magic Mike XXL (2015), Rampage (2018), and Justice League (2017), in which he played Deathstroke. In addition to acting, Manganiello has worked as a producer and director and is also known for his involvement in tabletop gaming and fantasy projects.
