Lance James Henriksen (born May 5, 1940) is an American actor and artist renowned for his work in science fiction, horror, and action films. He gained international recognition with roles in The Terminator (1984), James Cameron's Aliens (1986), where he portrayed the android Bishop, and Near Dark (1987). His extensive career also includes Pumpkinhead (1988), Hard Target (1993), Millennium (1996–1999), and Alien vs. Predator (2004), reprising Bishop's likeness. Known for his commanding screen presence and distinctive voice, Henriksen has become one of the most respected character actors in genre cinema.
