Lawrence Anderson "Larry" Ward was an American voice actor and linguist best known for his contributions to the Star Wars saga. Working with sound designer Ben Burtt, he helped develop the Huttese language, drawing inspiration from Quechua, and provided the voices of Greedo in Star Wars and Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi. Although he had few screen acting credits, his vocal work became an enduring part of the franchise's sound and world-building. Ward's unique combination of linguistic expertise and voice performance left a lasting mark on one of cinema's most iconic universes.
