Laura Ellen Ziskin (March 3, 1950 – June 12, 2011) was an American film producer and executive known for producing some of Hollywood's most successful films. She began her career at Columbia Pictures before producing No Way Out (1987), Pretty Woman (1990), As Good as It Gets (1997), and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007), helping establish the modern superhero blockbuster. Beyond filmmaking, she produced the 79th and 81st Academy Awards ceremonies and was a prominent advocate for breast cancer awareness after her diagnosis in 2004. Ziskin remains recognized as one of the industry's most influential producers.
