Martin Starr is an American actor and comedian who first gained recognition as Bill Haverchuck in the cult television series Freaks and Geeks. He later appeared in films including Knocked Up, Adventureland, and This Is the End, while becoming particularly known for his television work as Roman DeBeers in Party Down and Bertram Gilfoyle in Silicon Valley. Starr also joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as teacher Roger Harrington, appearing in The Incredible Hulk and the Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland. His career has largely combined comedy with distinctive supporting and ensemble roles across film and television.
